Watch: Abduction of Philadelphia Woman Caught on Tape

Philadelphia police are asking for the public's help finding a 22-year-old woman whose abduction was caught on tape, reports New York's Daily News.

Carlesha Freeland-Gaither was abducted while walking through Pennsylvania's Germantown neighborhood around 9:40 p.m. on Nov. 2.

Security video captured the assailant driving to the street, getting out of the four-door sedan and walking on the block where he came into contact with Freeland-Gaither. The man can be seen pulling Freeland-Gaither down the street as she struggled to escape. The video shows her falling to the ground to avoid the attacker before being thrown into the car.

Freeland-Gaither kicked out both rear windows before the car pulled away. Her phone and glasses were found on the ground near the spot where she was abducted.

Philadelphia police Lt. Clifton Lights says that "there's no relationship to drugs or criminal activity at this time."

Derek Alston, Freeland-Gaither's grandfather, said that it was likely that Freeland-Gaither was walking from a cousin's party to her home, which is located just a few blocks from where she was taken.

Carl Freeland, Carlesha's father, has posted fliers around the neighborhood. "If anybody knows anything, please, just bring my daughter home," Freeland told the news station.

Police are looking for a 2002-2004 dark-gray metallic Ford Taurus with an unknown license plate.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-10-inch black man with a medium-brown complexion between 25 and 30 years of age. He was wearing a dark hooded jacket, hat and pants.

Freeland-Gaither, who is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds, has brown eyes and braided hair. She was last seen wearing a light-blue jacket, a white-and-gray sweater and a black backpack.

The city of Philadelphia is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
