Missing Brooklyn girl, 12, may be with older man

 

 

 

EAST FLATBUSH (PIX11) - A Brooklyn mother is pleading for the safe return of her 12-year-old daughter, who went missing last month with an older man.
Janiah Simpson, of East Flatbush, was last seen on Sept. 28 leaving Wingate Park in Brooklyn.
She’s about 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Simpson was last seen wearing blue sweatpants, a blue t-shirt and black and green Jordan sneakers.

According to Simpson’s twin sister, Janiah left the park with a man who approached her while she was playing with friends.
It’s not known whether she left voluntarily or against her will with the man, who is believed to be in his 30s.
Police are asking for anyone with information about Janiah Simpson’s whereabouts to call the anonymous police tip line Crime Stoppers at (877) 577-TIPS (8477).
